UGM-27北极星导弹（UGM-27 Polaris）是洛克希德公司为美国海军在冷战期间建造的一种两段式固態燃料潜射弹道导弹，用于替换SSM-N-8天狮星型巡航导弹作為美國海軍新一代的舰队弹道导弹（Fleet Ballistic Missile, FBM）。北極星是在1960年1月7日于佛罗里达卡納維爾角（Cape Canaveral, FL）进行首次试射。英國在1963年签下北极星订购合同后，该弹从1968年到1990年代中期也曾配屬在英国皇家海军旗下的潜艇上。


除了英美之外，意大利本也有意购买北極星，还在加里波第号轻巡洋舰（義大利語：Giuseppe Garibaldi (incrociatore 1936)）（Giuseppe Garibaldi）上进行了试射。但是尽管试验成功，美国却出于政治考虑未提供该弹。意大利于是自行发展了阿尔法型导弹（英语：Alfa (rocket)），却由于簽署了核不扩散条约而未實際装备。


北極星的后续型是1972年开始发展的波塞冬导弹（UGM-73 Poseidon）。海神在1980年代陸續於十艘新造的美國海軍彈道潛艇上服役數年之後，又被更後繼的三叉戟I型导弹取代。


在北極星的發展过程中采用了一些新的系统评估手段，包括项目评估与回顾技术PERT。它取代了过时的甘特图表评估法。
